THE SHORT ANSWER

What does a meeting transcription service do?

A meeting transcription service converts spoken discussion into searchable text. AudioTale goes further by organising the recording into a readable transcript, a short overview, the main points, firm decisions and follow-up actions, so the result is useful after the meeting rather than simply a wall of words.

01

Meeting notes that separate discussion from decisions

A long transcript preserves the conversation, but it does not immediately tell you what changed. AudioTale separates the useful outcomes from the surrounding discussion.

The summary is designed for a quick read. Decisions and actions have their own sections, making it easier to prepare a follow-up, update colleagues or check what was agreed.

  • Speaker-labelled transcript
  • Concise meeting summary
  • Key discussion points
  • Firm decisions
  • Actions with stated owners and dates
02

Useful for client calls, reviews and workshops

AudioTale works well when the value sits in a recorded conversation: client discovery calls, team reviews, project meetings, workshops, research sessions and internal briefings.

Add names, acronyms and specialist terms in the optional context box. This gives the summary useful background, while the original transcript remains available for checking exact wording.

03

Pay for the recordings you actually transcribe

AudioTale uses minute packs instead of a recurring plan. A 20 minute and 10 second recording uses 21 minutes. Your balance is attached to your email account and unused minutes do not expire.

This is intended for occasional and regular recorded meetings where a subscription would add cost without adding value.

04

Secure processing with practical limits

Recordings travel over encrypted HTTPS connections and are processed to create your result. AudioTale does not provide an audio library or retain recordings as a media archive.

You remain responsible for having permission to record and upload the conversation. For sensitive or consequential material, minimise unnecessary personal information and review the output before sharing or acting on it.

QUESTIONS ANSWERED

What people usually want to know.

Can AudioTale transcribe a recorded meeting?

Yes. Upload a meeting recording as an MP3 or M4A file and AudioTale produces a speaker-labelled transcript, concise summary, key points, decisions and action items.

Does AudioTale join live meetings as a bot?

No. AudioTale works from a recording you upload after the meeting. It does not join your call, appear in the participant list or interrupt the conversation.

What meeting recording formats are supported?

AudioTale accepts MP3 and M4A audio files up to 100 MB and six hours long. If your meeting platform exports video, export or convert an authorised audio copy first.

How much does meeting transcription cost?

AudioTale is pay as you go. The starter pack includes 60 minutes, and unused minutes remain on your email account until you use them.

Should meeting notes be checked?

Yes. Automated transcription is useful but not error-free. Check important names, figures, quotations, decisions and deadlines against the recording before relying on them.
